1 can (15.5 oz) Garbanzo beans or Chick peas
1-3 garlic cloves (I use one large clove)
1 Tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 - 1/2 cup olive oil
Salt, pepper to taste
Put beans, garlic and lemon juice in food processor (I use my blender.) Blend ingredients together while slowly adding olive oil to the right consistency. Salt and pepper to taste. (We don't usually add salt or pepper because there is so much flavor already. We also like to add ONE of the following: roasted red pepper, feta cheese or spinach. Red pepper is our favorite. Jay likes to garnish with cilantro.) Serve with pitas, crackers, tortilla chips, or fresh veggies! ENJOY!
