- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder (I skip this and brown 1/4 cup onion with my ground beef)
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (this amount is good for my taste, but use less for kids)
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
This is my new go-to recipe for making taco meat because the store-bought taco packets have extra flour and things that add unnecessary carbohydrates to your meal. You can make a bunch of this mixture ahead of time and have keep it in a container in your spice rack until you're ready to use it.
